Vietnamese students rank third in Huawei ICT Competition

HCMC – The Vietnamese team has won the third prize among 146 teams participating in the seventh Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 Global Final held in Shenzhen, China.
The team includes Nguyen Quoc Hung (Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology), Tran Duc Lam and Vu Quang Hai (FPT University), with the guidance of Dr. Tran Tien Cong (Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology-PTIT). They won third place in the Cloud Track, part of the final round.
The Vietnamese team previously surpassed more than 120,000 students from over 2,000 universities in 74 countries and territories to participate in the final.
First held in 2015, the annual Huawei ICT Competition has provided a platform for international exchange between university and college students, improving their knowledge and practical ability about Information and communication technologies.
More than 580,000 students from 85 countries and territories participated in the competition.
As of 2022, Huawei has worked with 2200 universities to build Huawei ICT Academies, helping train more than 200,000 students annually.
