HCMC – Indonesia’s Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) has declared an investigation into alleged anti-dumping practices related to Polypropylene Copolymer (PPC) products imported from multiple countries, including Vietnam, according to the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam.
This inquiry follows a petition from Indonesian chemical company PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk, covering products falling under HS code 3902.30.90.
Exporters from Vietnam and other scrutinized nations will receive survey questionnaires from KADI. Eligible businesses can participate by submitting notifications before August 27, 2023.
The Trade Remedies Authority has warned that Vietnamese producers of these items could face adverse outcomes, potentially losing entry to the Indonesian market if anti-dumping measures are enforced.
It further underscored the significance of proactive collaboration with KADI throughout the entire process.
