Nestled at the foot of Bach Ma Mountain in Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province, roughly 40km from downtown Hue City, lies Truoi Lake. This reservoir is not only the first and largest irrigation project in the region, boasting an expansive area of nearly 400 hectares and a water capacity of about 60 million cubic meters, but it has also transformed into a captivating tourist hotspot, particularly alluring to backpackers.

Embarking on a boat journey to explore the lake is a delightful choice for nature enthusiasts. During the summer, the lake’s surface glistens like a colossal mirror, faithfully reflecting the enchanting landscape bathed in radiant sunlight. In contrast, the arrival of winter cloaks the lake with a drifting mist that often evokes comparisons to a terrestrial fairyland.
