HCMC – Four exhibitions in the garment and textile industry are concurrently taking place in District 7, HCMC from October 25 to 28, with more than 500 companies from 12 countries and territories attending.
These are the 21st International Exhibition of Machinery and Industrial Equipment for the Textile and Garment Industry (VTG 2023), the 21st International Exhibition of Textile and Garment Accessories (VITATEX 2023), the International Exhibition of Dyeing and Chemicals for the Textile Industry (DYECHEM 2023), and the International Exhibition of the Leather and Footwear Industry and Accessories (VFM 2023).
These events feature over 830 booths of exhibitors from Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand.
This year’s expos are centered around factory digitalization, aiming to drive the growth of Vietnam’s textile industry through digital transformation in production.
Judy Wang, president of Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd., the organizer of VTG, said, “This is the pivotal moment to proactively undertake a factory quality assessment, conduct a comprehensive examination of production lines and management mechanisms, and leverage the implementation of digital tools to enhance overall efficiency and cost reduction, ultimately turning this crisis into an opportunity.”
Renowned international textile machinery manufacturers such as Tajima, Kyang Yhe (KY), and Sansin, are showcasing their cutting-edge automation technologies at the exhibitions.
The events are expected to facilitate knowledge sharing and enhance garment production efficiency. In particular, VTG 2023 highlights the contributions of established companies like iGarment, Datacolor and LTLabs, to the digitization of textile production facilities.
Moreover, many international exhibitors are presenting environmentally friendly chemical dyeing products, collectively contributing to the transformation of Vietnam’s textile sector towards sustainable growth.
The exhibitions include a series of seminars where experts and business representatives discuss pressing industry issues, including green transformation, digitalization and sustainable development strategy.
VTG is organized by Vinexad National Trade Fair & Advertising J.S.C, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. The event is co-hosted by several domestic and international businesses and associations.
