HCMC – The Hoa Mai Design Awards for wooden furniture was officially launched today morning (September 27) to seek talented designers and discover innovative, practical wooden furniture design solutions.
The design awards has been organized annually by the Fine Arts and Wood Processing Association of HCMC (HAWA) since 2002, with the primary sponsorship of the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC).
It has garnered significant attention and participation from numerous design firms, interior furnishing companies, architects, university representatives, and individuals passionate about shaping and enhancing living spaces.

The Open Award continues to cater to young designers and students from universities and colleges specializing in Architecture and Interior Design.
With a total prize value of VND700 million across both categories, participants in the Hoa Mai Design Awards 2023 will also have the opportunity to showcase their products at Hawa Expo 2024, the largest furniture and interior export fair in HCMC.
The top 20 finalists from the Open Awards and the top 10 from the Grand Award will receive booth sponsorships at Hawa Expo 2024, with each valued at VND60 million.
