The history of Vietnam’s railway system dates back to 1881, when the first railway line between Saigon (now known as HCMC) and My Tho in Tien Giang Province was constructed. Just four years later, on July 20, 1885, the inaugural train journey departed from Saigon’s railway station. This station has played a pivotal role in rail transport, connecting Saigon to central and northern regions ever since.

Situated in Dong Nai, the Bien Hoa Railway Station lies approximately 29 kilometers from Saigon’s station. Recently, both locals and tourists have been eagerly embarking on short train journeys, particularly on weekends, from the historic Saigon Railway Station to Bien Hoa Railway Station.

The route operates daily, offering six journeys per day. The round-trip ticket prices vary from VND90,000 to VND110,000, depending on the seat class.
