Vietnam Airlines restores pre-Covid international flight networks

HCMC – Vietnam Airlines is restoring its pre-pandemic international flight networks in a bid to achieve nearly 90% of its previous flight frequencies.

Starting from September 23, the national flag carrier will increase the frequency of flights between Hanoi and Beijing, China, from three to four per week. These flights will operate on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Effective October 29, the airline will also increase its air services to Australia. The number of flights between Hanoi and Melbourne, Australia, will increase from two to three per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

A new direct air service between HCMC and Perth, Australia, will commence on December 7, offering three weekly flights.

The airline will also augment its flights to Europe.

Flights between Vietnam and the UK will rise from five to seven per week. Four flights will depart from Hanoi on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, while three will depart from HCMC on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

On the route to Germany, the frequency will increase from six to seven flights per week, with daily departures from Hanoi. The HCMC-France route will see its flight frequency rise from three to four weekly flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
